About Us

Since the advent of remote capable devices, hospitals and clinics have been struggling to efficiently manage their device patient population. EquiMed is able to seamlessly provide remote monitoring for any size implantable cardiac device clinic. In many circumstances, our clients need help with a specific type of device or vendor. Our free practice analysis allows us to review your current workflows and staffing needs to accurately assess what your needs and goals are. We realize that each clinic is unique and allow your clinic to specify both notification and reporting protocols.

EXPERIENCED

EquiMed has been providing continuous cardiac monitoring since 1987 with a specialization in implantable device checks. In our 33 year history, we have completed over 250,000 patient checks. Our extensive experience allows us to offer our client partners a unique insight into their device populations and staffing needs as well as providing improved workflows and reporting efficiencies for the clinic.

QUALIFIED

EquiMed is an American Based and Licensed independent diagnostic testing facility is certified by Medicare. Your patients will be monitored by registered nurses, certified cardiovascular technicians and implantable device specialists who are required by law to complete device specific continuing education on a yearly basis. We pride ourselves on being the most qualified device service in the country.

24/7/365

We never take a day off. Our data shows that many adverse device events happen late at night or on weekends. We continuously review each vendor’s web portal to make sure that each device check is done immediately and that all alerts are reviewed and managed appropriately. Our overnight staff reviews more patient transmissions in a single night than many clinics do in a year.

NO COST

Our service is covered by both Medicare and most commercial insurance companies. There is no cost to the clinic to get started. Let us help you improve your patient compliance. We will provide you a detailed patient reporting and billing summary to assure you are capturing the appropriate reimbursement for each test performed.
