Clinician Resources

This section of our website is dedicated to those healthcare professionals that are involved with the management of patients with implantable cardiac devices. EquiMed is a licensed IDTF that specializes in the remote monitoring of all implantable cardiac devices. We act as an extension of a device clinic’s labor pool. We focus on the efficient management of all scheduled and unscheduled patient transmissions and triage all data and reports for you. We are available to provide temporary or permanent assistance for any device clinics including scheduling, patient reminders, patient education and troubleshooting, billing support and daily device transmission management. We realize that each client has specific needs and are able to customize our monitoring services. If you need help with one specific device vendor, we can help. If you need help with one specific type of device, we can help. Whether you need help to cover a technician’s outage or simply can’t find qualified device personnel, we can help. “I am the director of the Cath Lab and Device clinic for a group of 20 cardiologists in Central Florida. We follow approximately 4,000 patients in our device clinic. As our practice grows, so does the strain on the device clinic to keep our patients in compliance with their remote follow-up. When we began adding more patients, especially in the areas of heart failure and ILRs, we needed help. EquiMed has been the perfect partner. We have been able to keep up with the pacemakers and ICDs and EquiMed follows the Heart Failure and ILRs. The integration is seamless. And whenever we have a short term need in the pacer/ICD area due to staff shortages, EquiMed fills in. I would recommend them highly.” Lynne M.
